Seattle Weekly reviewed us

From Seattle Weekly:

“Local four-piece Blood Orange Paradise is made up of transplants to Seattle from Washington D.C. and Olympia, and the influence of both locales is clear on the group’s recently released, self-titled full-length. D.C. was the home of Dischord Records, a major player the city’s punk scene during the ’80s and ’90s. BOP’s sound–taut guitar and drum patterns with unusually articulate lyrics–bears a striking resemblance to many of the label’s best-known post-hardcore acts (think Fugazi, Jawbox, or Nation of Ulysses) as well as Olympia band Unwound, making for a record that’s simultaneously raw and tightly wound.”

Brian is moving to Chicago under duress from the Italian mob. Those bullies! But who could blame them? Just look at his mad dough tossin’ skillage…

Yep, you heard it here first. Myspace is gone forever, no one cares, and we can all forget about it and move on. Click the old myspace pic for the site we put our music on that doesn’t take a million years to load and isn’t constantly spammed by gross desperate social media vampires.
